The HS-102 Ultra-Mobile mini projector from LG

LG Electronics have recently introduced the HS-102 Ultra-Mobile which, as its name suggests, is a mini projector that is highly mobile with its small size of 11.7 × 15.4 × 5 cm and a weight of 780g.

It is capable of projecting an image of a diagonal up to 127 cm (50 inches) if projecting at a distance between 21 and 180 cm.

It uses LED lens with a life expectancy estimated at more than 50000 hours. LED lens are practically guaranteed for life!

The HS-102 also has a MP4 player and a USB port.

In terms of brightness, the HS-102 has the pole position on the market with 160 lumens. The disadvantage is that it can only project at a 800 × 600 pixels resolution. Despite this, its contrast ratio is 2000:1. With all these options, the HS-102 can project a comfortable readability even in a bright room.

The HS-102 does not heat up either, thanks to the LED lens technology. Their miniaturization allows the lens to run cooler as they consume less energy than conventional bulbs.

The HS-102 is only available in South Korea for the moment, it will be expected to appear soon on the U.S. markets at around $550.
